CONTINUIC

Building technology around continuity.

A person should not have to start over every time technology changes. CONTINUIC is building technology around a persistent, person-centered continuity layer — not around a single application, a single device or a single artificial intelligence model.

Steward is currently in development. The initial prototype is focused on proving persistent continuity across health and adjacent context.

Different systems. One life.

Why CONTINUIC exists

The information exists. The continuity does not.

Modern technology understands pieces of a person’s life remarkably well. Every system is excellent inside its own boundary.

A watch

understands activity.

A calendar

understands time.

A medical system

understands records.

A bank

understands transactions.

Documents and conversations

hold history.

Artificial intelligence

can interpret all of it.

The person is still the one holding those pieces together — re-explaining their own history to every new application, professional and model. That work is invisible, unpaid and constant.

CONTINUIC exists to build
the layer that is missing between them.

What we are building

An architecture for continuity.

A person-centered continuity layer that preserves meaningful context as systems, devices and models change around it.

  • We are not trying to replace the systems people already use.
  • We are not building around one artificial intelligence provider.
  • We are not collecting everything simply because it is possible.

Steward is the first product expression of that architecture.

Steward remembers.
Intelligence interprets.
The person decides.

Our principles

What resolves the difficult decisions.

01

The person is the center.

Technology should organize around the life being lived, rather than asking the person to organize around the technology.

02

Continuity belongs to the person.

Custody, sponsorship, access and intelligence do not create ownership of someone’s history.

03

Intelligence is a tool.

A model can interpret context without becoming the permanent owner of memory, identity or decision-making authority.

04

Integrate before duplicating.

Excellent systems should stay excellent systems. Connect them where possible rather than rebuilding them to own more of the stack.

05

Trust lives in the architecture.

Permission, provenance, portability and least privilege are design constraints, not marketing claims.

06

The life is the destination.

The goal is not to maximize time spent in software. Technology should become useful, then get out of the way.

What makes CONTINUIC different

A different starting point.

Most digital systems begin with an application.

CONTINUIC begins with the person.

Most intelligence products accumulate context inside the model.

CONTINUIC separates continuity from intelligence.

Most platforms grow more valuable as leaving grows harder.

CONTINUIC keeps continuity portable.

Most systems organize around a single domain.

CONTINUIC organizes around a life that crosses them.

Our first product

Steward is the CONTINUIC thesis made usable.

Steward is a continuity layer for a person’s life. It connects information from the systems someone already uses, preserves meaningful context across time, and assembles the permissioned context a question actually needs.

Health is the first proving ground. Continuity is the product.

Why health first

The continuity problem people already feel.

  • The fragmentation is already visible to the person.
  • Longitudinal information genuinely exists.
  • Multiple independent systems already participate.
  • Cross-domain context measurably changes the quality of an answer.
  • The architecture can be proven without building the entire long-term vision first.

The company we intend to become

Steward is a name with obligations.

If people entrust CONTINUIC with meaningful context from their lives, the company has to behave as a steward of that trust — not only in the product, but in how the company itself is built.

These principles are meant to reach past the interface and govern the decisions that are easiest to compromise later.

Trust is not something we ask people to hand over. It is something we have to keep earning.

Development status

Steward is currently in development.

The initial prototype is focused on proving persistent continuity across health and adjacent context: continuity that holds over time, synthesis across fragmented information, and permissioned crossing of system boundaries.

This site describes the architecture and direction of the product. It does not claim that every capability described already exists.

Adrian Appleberry

Founder & CEO, CONTINUIC

Adrian Appleberry is the Founder & CEO of CONTINUIC and the creator of Steward. He is leading the company around a simple thesis: the next major layer in personal technology is not more intelligence, but continuity — persistent, permissioned context that remains centered on the person even as applications, devices and artificial intelligence change.

A senior core is already taking shape around Steward’s architecture. The broader team follows as the company grows.

What we owe people

Trust cannot merely be something we ask people to give us.
It has to become something we continually earn.

The principles behind Steward are also standards for the company building it: minimum necessary access, purpose-bound permission, and control that stays with the person.

One person. One story. One life.
