Our approach

The person shouldn’t have to be the integration layer.

Technology keeps getting more capable, but it is still organized around products, services and domains. The boundaries between them are left for people to cross on their own. CONTINUIC builds products that reduce that work.

The problem

Every system understands its own piece.

The person is still the one holding those pieces together. Re-explaining, re-entering and re-finding the same things across separate systems is invisible, unpaid and constant work.

A watch

understands activity.

A calendar

understands time.

A medical system

understands records.

Streaming services

understand what you watch.

A bank

understands transactions.

Documents and conversations

hold history.

What we believe

The principles behind every CONTINUIC product.

01

The person shouldn’t be the integration layer.

When systems don’t work together, people end up carrying information between them, re-entering it and re-explaining it. A good product takes on that work instead of adding to it.

02

Integrate before duplicating.

Excellent systems should stay excellent systems. We build on the services people already use rather than recreating them to own more of the stack.

03

The person is the customer, not the product.

Our business should never depend on working against the people who use what we build. Their attention and information are not the thing being sold.

04

The person is the constant.

Applications, devices, services and intelligence will keep changing. The person is what stays. Technology should be organized around the life being lived, not the other way round.

05

Technology should get out of the way.

Success is not measured by how much attention someone gives the product. The goal is to become useful, then step aside.

In each product

One philosophy, applied to different problems.

Streamline applies this thinking to streaming entertainment: one place to decide what to watch across the services you already pay for. Steward applies it much more broadly, to continuity across the systems and years of a person’s life.

See it in practice

Different systems. One life.
